I find it just a comment showing pride for Korea, rather than her distaste for Japan or the US.  It's not the most politically-correct thing to say, but she said her opinion honestly and I don't think she was really meaning it to insult.

i agree.
she definitely could have worded it differently though. i can see how someone could pull something insulting out of her statement, as alot of people have unfortunately. it's nice to see that she's proud of her country and is willing to speak honestly about it though.
