It'll definitely play Regions 1 & 3. That much I know for sure. I'm guessing that means it's ALL REGION. However, since you're in Germany I'll change my laptop drive to R2 and check to make sure it'll work in this Region as well for you before you go ahead and decide to spend the money on it.
