I mean, yes, she does look beautiful and the dresses and shooting locations are nice. There's nothing wrong with the aesthetics. But somehow those shots seem lifeless to me even when she's looking directly into the camera or has a smile on her face.
I can't even really explain it, it's just the feeling I get from the whole thing.
I do prefer the photos they used for the album booklet/cover in the end.
But I think the offshots are really interesting to see. And Timmy (it's him in the NY pictures, right?) looks like really confused.  |
Imo, the whole "lifeless" part and statue feeling would fit the PQ concept way better than the actual PQ booklet. She looks more like the queen who is said in these dress photos than in the naked photos. But that might be just me feeling that about these two different shoots. Either way, if the dress shoot would have been the real cover I would have bought the album right away.
