Being into the same musicians, ias far as I can tell I am... Seems to take more into it, especially the album as a whole but I got into her in 05 so I can't really say xD

I've been a fan since the trilogy came out in Spring 2000. "End of the World" was a SHOCKING song, but she felt so natural doing it after songs like "A Song for XX" and "POWDER SNOW" and "P.S II" and "monochrome." She seemed so much more honest and more comfortable with darker, more rockish sounding songs. Those songs made me FEEL something more than the basic pop songs like "Trust" and "Boys & Girls" did, as much as I enjoyed them. The more rock sounds she did later really felt like a very natural progression for her.
