I wouldn't say "Being a drag queen has nothing to do with being gay" but more like "Being a drag queen is not all about being gay"
You can't seriously say it has NOTHING to do with being gay. Give me a break. Lol.
And people get so riled up about stupid comments that were not meant to be rude. Sniffing out criticism where it was not meant. Let's just say this era of Ayu's has more in common with 'gay' than past eras... I am not a fan of stereotypes, but there is a difference between stereotyping (seeing EVERYONE in that group as the SAME/HAVING the SAME QUALITIES) and finding common behaviors/interests/similarities with the majority of people who belong to said group.
For example: Not all drag queens are gay, but the majority are. Therefore, gay people are more likely to be interested in/participate in drag than heterosexual people (specifically speaking, men). There is no denying that.
