I'm confused why ppl think she doesn't want to release new music, the blame should be given to avex. I really wish they would just let her go, why keep her on the label when you're not letting her do anything. Yeah she released a BEST but only one new song "Future" and it was a bonus track released on iTunes. I think making cds & dvds in Japan is expensive to manufacture, so if avex doesn't want to spend too much money on Ami, they should release new music digitally like on iTunes.

Here's info I collected about last single that was cancelled, when avex gave up on her:
Ami was gonna release a new single produced by Yasutaka Nakata on January 27 2010. Yasutaka Nakata last worked with Ami on Supreme Show album. After KISS KISS KISS single flopped, avex cancelled the new single. I used google to translate the description about the new song, it was described as having a club sound that was polished, honed, whatever. I hope one day the song will get a release.
