woo finally...first post update. I'm DONE
It took forever! I just, kept messing up...
ANYWAYS. So I thought the album was pleasant. I definitely definitely liked the latter half though, and especially, I think it was the last five songs. I just like that pure R&B sound from her, and then if she mixes it with some traditional "oriental" sounds here and there -yey-.
I was so surprised at Butterflies! I totally went into it thinking it was going to be some random sounding pop song. It's one of the better tracks I think.
In reference to your review B&D, I actually like a lot that Mikansei doesn't "go anywhere", cause then it's just mellow and relaxing for me. Kind of like how people say Ayu's BRILLANTE doesn't go anywhere, but for me, that's part of it's charm.
I'm still on the wall about Honesty and Tell Me.
So...um I think I definitely liked a lot less tracks on this album compared to Magic and Rainbow, but at the same time, I think they all show off how well she writes and her vocals which ugh, just kill me in every song. She's fabulous.
I'm gonna be working on...uploading her whole discography to my MF...although I think I remember talking to temmy on the first couple of pages saying we couldn't find some of the older digital singles...but, whatever, I'll look around~
