Well not to be at the end of a conversion, but because of Namies divorce her career kinda tanked.
The was something about Utada's divroce and the reason why it was okay...
I cant remeber the details... but Namie went through more than the divorce at that time... I also thing it had to do with being a single mom as well.
stuff like that is just looked down upon in Japan. Unlike the rest of the world... its kinda funny really... they really dont have a religion (which marriage is based on) yet they hold marriage in the upmost regard.. lol

agreed... shes been in the business long enough to know how to sale albums...
she wouldnt do something like this for a stunt because it wouldnt work.
