nah, it's not evil. you want her to be touched by what you guys did <3
and i think it makes total sense to say that alan probably won't go back to japan, at least not for a while. i don't know if she was ever really comfortable in that market, or with all that she had to go through to learn the language, live alone, etc. i'm sure she's nothing but grateful (as are the fans, of course), but i think if it comes down to her being able to sing AND be happy in her personal life, focusing on the chinese market's looking like her best bet. if music is alan's life, then her family must be a close, close,
close second, and i would want her to be able to spend more time with them which might be easier if she's working primarily in china.
i won't pretend it doesn't depress the hell out of me, though :c "ashita e no sanka" STILL gives me chills to this day, and it's one of the reasons i wanted to start studying japanese, so i could listen to that song and know what she was saying without needing a translation. well, looks like i'll have to learn mandarin now for all that.
