I agree with Andrenekoi, I really don't think this PV is trying to show domestic violence (like one part showing an abusive behavior towards the other), it just shows a couple fighting with the same intensity. It's not domestic violence, it's just a really bad couple fight with both parts being agressive toward each other.
And it's not that what's happening is stupid, it's that they are being stupid (having a stupid atitude) toward each other.
I actually like those pvs, the way they show the development of a relationship that started in an unexpected way (the girl staying with the friend because her boyfriend was a jerk), had its nice moments, but turned out to have a really bad ending. It's something that actually happens to a lot of couples...

This, pretty much this.
The definition of domestic violence is not mine, I got it from wikipedia (that's why I quoted it), but it really is pretty accurate. As far as my understanding of the subject goes, Domestic Violente is a "little" bit more complex than a couple shoving it other... Maro is not being agressive to Ayu in order to show power, to repress her, to make her less, to humiliate her... And those are typical characteristics of the domestic abuse.
If Maro was abusing Ayu while trying to keep the relationship, if he was trying to dominate her, them, that would be another story... But in the end, he is the one who left her, and he did it pretty fast, not the oposite. I don't think AT ALL this video is about domestic violence, I don't think this was ever the point. This video is about a idealized relationship failing. We don't even know who started abusing who on the video... Because it doesn't really matter to the storyline.
I already saw some lovey dovey couples turning into street fighter when the relationship was about to end, just like the PV... And the most pathetic, imature and sad it looked, I wouldn't consider it domestic violence.
