About the region encoding everyone's discussing, not sure how it works exactly, but it is possible to take ANY Bluray or DVD Player and make it ALL REGION for FREE. My friend did my DVD Player quite awhile ago and I can buy DVDs from ANYWHERE and watch them on my TV without any issues or complications at all. Just pop the disk in and enjoy.
I didnt bother with the Bluray since Blurays from like Japan & HK are same region as me anyways.
