EDIT: Also, if you're still looking for suggestions, I'd recommend you to try out yanaginagi (or Yanagi Nagi, or just やなぎなぎ - not sure how I should write her name romanised). She's not very rock or folk at all, but she's quite unusual at least. Some songs I would recommend:
