I feel like forgiveness was one of those overlooked singles by Ayu, probably because it was a ballad among a crap ton of ballads she was releasing. Overall, it's my 2nd or 3rd favorite song of hers, behind JEWEL and probably HEAVEN. It's just a well-produced, well-sung track... even if it's a little bit long.
