There are two parts which I interpreted differently:

That part (i.e. blooming fearlessly) is probably
The reason why I had been attracted to it
It reminds me of vogue's lyrics. Something like: it's 'scary' for a flower to bloom, because a flower knows it'll wither once it has finished blooming. That's my interpretation anyway
