She released some of her best music in 5 years with her 2 most recent albums (Party Queen and LOVE again), I don't see how her releases 'were a joke'. The problem is really just that she is no longer as relevant or as current in terms of popularity. It just happens, this is entertainment, tastes are fickle, they change, you can't always be at the top of your game.
