Nope, people don't generally know that. Unless you are really a fan of someone you usually don't know who writes their songs. Most people I talk to are shocked to hear she writes her lyrics.(I think most people assume she is too ditzy/dumb to write) After that, I have been told that "well, maybe she writes her lyrics, but it is probably a ghost writer."
