What a wasted opportunity AGAIN on her part. A music video can add so much more to a song, even make a song better and she is just not taking advantage.
I imagine at the end when the music all shuts down that is when all the riches and the lavishness is all revealed to be a facade/fraud/delusion/trick/hoax and it is just Utada and her lover left in desolate depression and despair where they were all along but hadn't realized it via outside sources or them alone because their love was so strong.

I listened to the song as well when I read your post, and I realized it again that the song is very powerful and emotional. It got me teary.
Yes, although imo I kinda like the PV but they can do a better job
'Everybody finds love in the end' it's simple and common but it is still very beautiful especially in this song
