[Chiharo]

I started to listen to Namie around the time when PLAY was out. I only liked a few random songs by her, but then I totally got into the whole PLAY album, so I decided I'd listen to everything she's released up until that point, and since then I was a fan.

Today, I love every single song she's released (yes, that's possible with anything), and it's just matters of what songs I actually love more than others. I don't think there is a bad song in her entire discography. I did mention I didn't like Uncontrolled, which is true, but that's just because I think that it's an album that lacks something by her standards. It feels so different than P<F or PLAY, like a completely watered down and popularized version of those albums that I felt were so damn sexy and amazing. In any other case, Uncontrolled is a great album, and I enjoy every song on it. It's just the comparison that makes me like it less.

Btw. What I also disliked about Uncontrolled was this:

In The Spotlight (TOKYO) - people report it sounding like one of popular American songs.
YEAH-OH - look above
ONLY YOU - look above
Hot Girls - Don't get me wrong, I like the beat and to groove to this (even if it did sound like a mess at first), but IDK what to make out of the lyrics and I don't want anyone see me listen to this for some reason.
Break It (AL ver) - Great song ruined

And the English versions of Go Round and YEAH-OH also ruin it a bit. Yet still, all of the songs on Uncontrolled are very enjoyable.

Also, about Uncontrolled - I don't feel the album is mastered properly. I have only one example to claim this, which is the sudden drop of volume when NAKED starts after the first track. And it's significally lower in volume on the album than on the single for some reason. I'd like this explained. xD
