I completely agree about Hip Hop in the 90s lol. With the exception of a few artists, Hip Hop has basically turned into rapping about partying and booze and rarely about relevant topics.
Even G-Dragon, for as much credit as he gets for being "one of the best idol rappers" raps about being the best or partying or having a good time. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, but he never really raps about anything relevant lol.
If there's a fight in 2NE1 (but I don't think there is, tbh) I kind of hope it's Minzy who's mad haha.
I mean, if Minzy were mad, there is no way in hell I would blame the girl. She gets pushed to the side all of the time in 2NE1 because of the other members and the girl has the
best control over her vocal skills/technique/etc. She's also the best dancer and does just a good job rapping as CL but because she doesn't have a 'nasal' rapping-style, no one cares about her rapping either.
She's the only one that hasn't gotten a solo in the group too and I honestly don't think she ever will, which is sad.
All of these 2NE1 stans on YG Ladies and Allkpop were like "CL has DESERVED this for so long!"
Really? If anything, I think Minji probably deserved a solo more.
Like I said though, YG will probably never give her one, which is sad because even Dara got one.
