lol I wasn't referring to your comment, I had previously said it was shocking before, for the cover art when I first saw it. I was just saying it wasn't shocking in comparison to the cover photo for me. Which btw the cover art is not shocking any more haha, it just in retrospect unexpected mainly.
Yes, you're right, its different in Japan vs here in Western countries for the aesthetic of gay men.
