Kamenashi Kazuya overwhelmed by international screening request of “Ore Ore”

On May 25th, KAT-TUN Kamenashi Kazuya (27) attended the stage greeting of the opening day of his film, "Ore Ore" in Shinjuku Piccadilly Theater, Tokyo. Kamenashi has devoted to challenge missions involving the number 33 until the release of this movie to pray for a blockbuster hit in cinemas. Such missions were, "scooping 33 goldfish" (Japanese game), "Turning off 33 candles at once", "Eating 33 sushis in 33 minutes", among others. He then made it clear that his last mission was to make this movie, a stunning success after its release, "When it's all over if I'm told by the staff 'it's a big hit', I'll be happy", he said with a smile.

During this event, Kamenashi challenged his 33rd mission which was "stopping the stopwatch at 33 seconds", he had to count himself cause he couldn't see the stopwatch. During his 3rd try, he made a superb success then jumped in joy while the venue wrapped him in big applauses. Kamenashi was pleased "My greed has a human being comes out" but he did not make it on his first try, "I'm not a genius. No matter what happens, I'm not the type of person who can achieve things on the first try".

It was also announced that this movie will be screened in Taiwan (this fall), Russia (this summer) and Singapore (details TBD). In April, "Ore Ore" was honored with the audience award "MY MOVIES AWARD" in Italy's "Udine Far East Film Festival". The movie will be distributed in Russia under the company "Maywyn FIlms", the written announcement said, "I received too many calls from avid fans so I guess I should try knowing about it. I was very surprised about the many comments relating Kamenashi's brilliant performance. This is the first time I experience something like this".

Kamenashi has immense popularity in Taiwan since he performed there in 2010. It was also informed that screening requests have been submitted by Indonesia, France, Malaysia, Spain, Bulgaria, Denmark, Ukraine, Brasil and others. Kamenashi rejoiced, "I'm really really happy! I'm glad this movie is growing in many countries. Let's aim for 33 countries! I'm sorry for making this such a loud event".

This event was also attended by Uchida Yuki, Kase Ryo and Director Miki Satoshi.
