Kuu tends to chose the ballads herself, I don't think Avex chooses them for her. But her style does seem to be generic love songs, especially recently. She has some awesome B side ballads, though! But I would love for Kuu to do some EPIC ballads like Utada/Ayu style cause she so has the voice and passion for it!
Kuu is my #1 artist, but unfortunately for ballads, I listen to her ballads the least compared to other artists. Utada and Ayu are my preferred favs for ballads, then Namie Amuro, then Kuu. But Kuu and Namie are my tops for R n'B/hip-hop. Then Kuu and Ayu are my tops for rock songs!
