Maybe ayumisreal will have a definitive answer for this, but, if I remember correctly, the original
A BALLADS underperformed in sales, right?
That said, I was totally down for
A BALLADS II when she released
Love songs. Who knows? maybe another ballad collection (complete with TK compositions!) will hit the right nostalgia beats and rebuild some goodwill between the Ayu brand and the average J-pop consumer?
I also really, really want a studio cover of "haru yo koi." I'd be down for a cover album, too.
