It's awkward to say this, since I wrote the translation in the first post--which is definitely flawed--but I agree. xD;; I think it's the "gonna" when written, but I also find it confusing that she wrote "reason you breathe," since that's not really what 生きる証（ikiru akashi) means: though "to breathe" can be a slightly metaphorical iteration of the idea, "to live," 証/akashi translates in every dictionary I've consulted, to "proof" or "testimony," and especially that which proves someone's innocence/vindicates them.
So while the differences may not be enormous, I think they make a big difference in the ultimate effect of the line, the penultimate lyric in the song.
To become the reason someone breathes, in my mind, is to be madly devoted and in love with someone (e.g. "I love you, Gertrude; you're the reason I breathe!" xPP). You exist only to love and attend to them, or at least that's the impression given by saying such a thing. Personally, I've never heard the object of love/devotion demand it in quite this way from someone else. ^^;
Maybe I'm being stubborn, but even in this configuration of words, though somewhat baffling to me, I'm going to go ahead and interpret them in the spirit of the rest of the song, or at least the impression I've gotten from it. Heavily dumbed down: "Though there are many hardships, I won't give up, I'll keep moving forward. You, too--don't give up. I support you, I love you, and we'll fight together."
