I've seen a teenage boy walk around central Stockholm wearing a shirt with the word "fuck" on it, and Swedes in general understand English a lot better than Japanese people. I think that for the most part people don't get too fazed by a foreign language's foul words, because while they carry a lot of expression, they don't carry the appropriate
cultural expression, if you get what I mean. I'd feel more insulted if someone threw me Swedish insults rather than American ones, I simply connect more (personally and culturally) to things in my native language and I think that's true for many others (including Japanese people) as well.
Anyway, I'm definitely getting the cap and the shirt, still undecided on the other stuff...
