Simply put: NO. These men should know what they're signing up for when getting into a relationship with her. I'm sure Mannie could have gone back to Japan with ayu if he had truly wanted to.
As for Maro...he's just a train wreck and I think it would be fascinating to know what was going through ayu's mind at the time.
