Well, that's what we're about to fear. And then again, AKB48 is breathing down her neck for the most consecutive #1 singles by a female artist (though earlier we have said that AKB48's a group, but Ayu's a solo singer).
To be honest, I do like BOTH Ayu and HSJ. But I haven't been recently listening to their music recently, mainly because of the lack of activities compared to, say, 2007, and I'm really stuck to my other interests, such as AKB48, Ayaka, Yanawaraba, Sayuri Sugawara...and I don't really care about the Oricon very much.
