I found Party Queen and NaNaNa to be in the same vein as Sparkle and i absolute love both of them, while your last comment about quality is true i just think that kind of dance music goes better with her voice. I rarely criticize Ayu, i just think her delivery and the overall quality of the songs could've been much better, they sound dated. With that being said, i'm probably still going to enjoy them when they come on my iPod, i'm just a little underwhelmed that's all.
It's not that big a deal anyway, i'm still going to enjoy the album cause she's going to deliver some amazing ballads as usual. Hopefully she'll venture into a less confused EDM sound like on Next Level, if she decides to go in that direction again of course (judging by this single, you never know)
