It seems people have a bad impression because within a relatively short span of time (late 2010 to now, only 3 years or so), she was married with Mannie, then divorced, then had a relationship with Maro, then broke up with Maro, then this engagement. And these events were announced right before or around the same time of a release.
Also, it seems people don't get why she wanted to stay in Japan post-311 and then had all this LA thing. It's kinda inconsistent, and some people criticize her using the earthquake as a cover.
I am guessing marriage may mean a bit more to Japanese. So when I read some of the previous posts in this thread that not all relationships have to end in marriages, I nodded!
Anyway, music-wise, I am just tired of the "love" theme... I want songs like decision or Microphone.
