INSPIRE is a nice choice. It actually was her best selling single of 2004 (even though CAROLS faired better digitally), it's probably a choice of kouhaku too because iirc they have a say or make the decision which song will be performed.
At least her songs varies each year, there are some acts who sing the same song over and over, on 2004 she sang Moments.
