I must say that I don't really like music from my country. Don't get me wrong,I grew with plenty of pop acts (solo and bands) such as Andra (pop, dance, ballad...great voice, great personality but her music is such a let down most of the times), Andreea Banica (mostly electropop, dance, house..commercial music),
Delia (the same genres as the other two...not a big fan but lately she has been releasing some really good songs..she's starting to experiment with her music), Elena Gheorghe etc....And you probably heard of INNA and Alexandra Stan. INNA is ok,not really my type of music but she's having huge succes in Europe and not only..I heard that she concerted even in Japan.
These are mostly mainstream artists, as I don't really follow romanian music very much.
