I mentioned the '20s, but just regarding the dance coreography. Maybe that's why you got it, SKYia.

It's really hard to distinguish, but I think I do see some characteristics for certain times.
The dance totally has moves from the '20s (Charleston especially).
Female dancers and artists, got popular (e.g. Josephine Baker), as women got more rights for the first time, got their first wave of emanzipation, also sexually, which you can see in fashion, music and dancing.
Sailor theme in fashion is actually quite old already and it got it's first big trend about 1915.
Though those high waist shorts Kuu's wearing are a trend not before the 40's. Kuu's make up is pretty 20's as well, with accented eyes and lips.
In the '40s, highlight for make up was more on the lips as far as I know.
But the hair looks '40s again to me, but I'm not an expert, I've just read much.

Also Jazz music and Blues blossomed back then in the '20s and you can hear elements in SHOW ME YOUR HOLLA (Charleston was mostly danced to Jazz).
As Kuu is a fan of Christina Aguilera, I guess she got the retro idea from that.
But Kuu took inspiration from '20s as well as from '40s if you ask me.
