Wish they'd just do it like America, UK or Japan does it. Release some actual photos and clips of the covers, concepts AND the music itself.The album comes out next week and EVEN NOW we only have the titles of 3 songs.... and have no audio of even what they sound like. Plus still no album cover.
Also I will NEVER UNDERSTAND the wars between labels. To me, the label doesn't mean a damn thing. It's the particular artist that does. I really don't care about YG or any other label coming out with new groups. Half of Korea's population under 30 will probably be part of KPOP groups in the next few years at the rate they're going.
I'm very excited for this album, but I'm just not at all fond with how Korea does all this HYPE advertising thing. However, I can't even put out my opinions on the album or any of its content (like everyone else) 'til after it releases, since it'll most likely won't be til then that we'll actually get the real music.

Your post is full of everything I've been saying for a long time. I've almost lost complete interest in 2NE1's new album because of '
His Royal Majesty King Troll YG's' incessant display of incompetence.
It just gets irritating when:
1. A company announces a release date
2. The release date comes and nothing is released
3. I get pissed
4. I then find out that the date was pushed back.
5. Re-read 1. through 4. until you are blue in the face.
I don't get why certain record labels in the S. Korean music industry practice the whole "last minute announcement+promotion" marketing when it comes to their artists either. I guess it prevents fans from waiting too long but there's no point if releases keep getting pushed back especially for many months or years (
like 2NE1, Taeyang, SNSD, etc.). And I agree with you on the fact that new boy and girl groups are debuting practically every damn month. It's tiring and unnecessary.
