I think m-flo IS still relevant, he did a lot of songs for kana nishino and they were huge.
For me it's a nice collaboration, I'm glad she's trying out new things and I loved merry go round because it's so different from her normal productions.
It's not like she will always and only do this kind of sound, it's just a parenthesis in her music, her sound will stay unchanged because it is HERS. But it's nice to see her experimenting with different things, otherwise I'd be bored.. then you can like or dislike but at least you can never say she keeps doing the same stuff all over again.
And I like that she's gone back to experimenting with rap, it IS part of her roots (nothing from nothing anyone?) so i find it nice ^^
