My opinion on the album!

Spoiler:

Introduction~Bon Voyage~
KUU ARE YOU CRAZY? You drop a beat this hot and decide to make it the introduction track? Chick needs a reality check, this could possibly have been the hottest song on the whole album.

SHOW ME YOUR HOLLA 8/10
I'll admit that i didn't like SMYH much at first, sure it was catchy but it lacked a memorable hook to me. But it's completely won me over now, the chorus is bananas and her vocals really fit this type of track. I love the voice processing going on when she's singing "Show Me Your Holla", it gives a really cool edge to the song that i'm really loving.

LOADED Ft. Sean Paul 6/10
What were they thinking with that build-up to the chorus? It's damn annoying, a shame considering how great the song started.. I love the bouncy beat and vocals but it fell down like a house of cards after that. The chorus is decent however and Sean Paul has surprisingly great chemistry with Kuu. Decent song all things considered, but i wish they cut out that annoying part.. ugh

Winner Girls 4/10
Too repetitive and not my type of song at all, it's got a decent beat going on for it but i honestly just found it boring and un-inspired. Also, am i the only one who thinks it sounds like a DejaVu leftover?

Imagine 8/10
I was never a huge fan of Kuu's ballads, but this one really took me by surprise.. It's giving me major nostalgia and her vocals just sound divine. It's so typically J-Pop that i can't help but loving everything about it. Really great song, i wonder why she didn't release this alongside Koishikute as a double A-Side?

Koishikute 7/10
Never understood the hate for this song, sure it's really "by the books" and sounds like 1000 other ballads released in Japan. But the instrumental is beautiful and her vocals are heartfelt, it's easy on the ears and definitely better than Ai Wo Tomenaide.

LALALALALA 7'5/10
I always feel like one of the only people who like Kuu's rock-esque tracks, Poppin' Love Cocktail was universally hated and i never see Hashire! mentioned anywhere on here.. a shame, cause i jammed so much to both of them. This one is no exception. The chorus is level A+ catchy and i can't help moving my hips to that beat, this could easily be a concert stable in my opinion.

Let's Show Tonight 5/10
I can't help but find this track really unnecessary? It doesn't fit the album at all and it's so short, not sure why she wanted to include it here either.. It would've have made more sense before or after SMYH honestly. Not a horrible song, just made me go WTF for a moment lol.

Interlude~Bon Voyage~
Love the beat, she always has great interludes (although nothing beats the one's for Japonesque <3) but i understand why this wasn't made into a full song.

TOUCH DOWN 8/10
I used to find Touchdown so extremely boring and un-inspired but eventually it just hit home, not to mention how hot the video is. Not really much to say as i've already mentioned my love for it countless times haha.

CRANK THA BASS Ft. OVDS 7/10
YESSSSS KUU BRING ME THAT SASS! Her vocals are so bad-ass here, i love when she brings this type of attitude as it fits her so well. The chorus is pretty damn lame, but she makes up for it with those verses. Really great song!

LOL 10/10
Best song on the album without a doubt, her engrish is more cringeworthy than ever and still i can't help but loving the shit out of it. The chorus is catchy, just the right amount of annoying and most important of all.. MEMORABLE! She always has songs like this, pretty much on all her albums but that's cause she's so damn good at them. Perfection <3

Go To The Top 6/10
Never been a huge fan of GTTT, it's just not my cup of tea at all. I loved the Anime inspired video, but yeah not really a song i care for.

Dreaming Now! 9/10
Without a doubt my favorite A-Side from this era and the only one up to her usual standards, she just delivered really well here honestly.

On Your Side 5/10
The definition of filler, it's so dry and could hardly remember anything about it when the song ended. Not a fan of this at all.

U KNOW 8/10
Wow, what is this? I feel like playing some Pokemon Yellow on my old gameboy after hearing that instrumental, this is such a cool song and i really like that she decided to end the album on a joyful note. Cause honestly, it left me feel kind of underwhelmed so this was a really smart move. I would actually have liked if she decided to go down this route for her next album! It's fun, care-free and obviously catchy. I don't find the chorus all that great but overall a really, really nice song.

Overall, a decent album that didn't turn out as bad as i expected. It still left me feeling underwhelmed and a little disappointed, Kuu has so much more in her than this.. some of the songs just sound like un-inspired versions of her past hits. But still, it has some damn good bangers and i'll be replaying LOL and U Know for the next month without a doubt. I'd probably score it in the middle, like 5/10
