Considering this snippet of the official version, I also prefer the fanmade version. The only things that upsets me a bit is that it doesn't contain substantial portions of Hikki's vocals.
So, some time ago, I did this re-remix of the Sonic Sprout version. Just added more vocals from Hikki -
