Well, bars are usually more repetitive in songs than you'd think, it's just that usually people are singing over top of them and you don't notice. trick is a one minute intro that's not exactly a complex song and when they extended it for the tour they probably knew they weren't going to release a studio version of it (especially since it only has one verse and no bridge) so they didn't bother changing it around. Which is probably why they made SIMW. It was a way to make a more complex "studio quality" song without rehashing something already released. Honestly, if I was making a one minute song (personally I feel like the actual song doesn't start till 24 seconds in), I really wouldn't bother with complexity or repetitiveness.

Also if you want to talk about something being repetitive. The phrase "step into my world" is sung/said/spoken 39 times throughout the song which is exactly 3 minutes long. That averages out to the phrase being said once every 4.6 seconds.
