I agree. really love the chorus, but the whole song comes to a screeching halt (repeatedly) when she sings the super slow verses.
this song could be so epic if she made that part more dynamic, but I guess it was her intention to make the song as it is.
the only live performance I've seen of LA she was just flailing her arms around during the verses, not bothering singing. wtf, seriously? way to kill a good song live.
( just thought of this, I have the same problem with free and easy, where the song suddenly loses all momentum before the middle of the song and it goes instrumental. How perfect this song could be, if she didn't kill the dynamic that song had!!
