No, not because they are westernized. I don't even really listen to western music besides a few songs and my beloved Britney, that's it. My music library is to 90% Japanese music.
But as much as I love Japan, its language, country and culture, I can't stand how idols with all their pseudo shyness und cuteness represent the perfect Japanese woman. That's why I would love to the see some fierce, cool and somehow tough idols to be successful and become some kind of role model. Would be a nice change for once.
