agreed! although i really enjoyed her voice ( really LOVED that photoshoot too
) and those covers were done really well vocally, im not a big fan of all those artists doing cover albums in general . it feels like they have to do a release they have no new material so they do cover ... or that album is a filler in between releases. i know its very trendy in japan ..... so a lot of artists fallow that trend hoping it wll push for higher sales ( since it target both older and younger generation)
if they cover one song once in a while and ad it as track on a whole new album or as b side i dont mind but a whole album full of covers not my thing ( not saying its bad , just a matter of personal taste here).
im just hoping for a whole new album whole new tracks from mika early 2015
