to LOVE is definitely her best album so far. I'd say go for that one next.
And it's easy to agree that she is becoming more and more redundant with her sound and concepts. With Love is sweet and lite as you would expect, and despite a little bit of playing with sound (mostly in the production end, not from her own effort) on Darling, I found this album really forgettable. Not only after the fact, but while it was on, I actually had a moment where I forgot it was playing!! o_o
I'll need to listen to it again with more focus, but it just seemed really typical for her. It be great to see her toughen up a little bit (even SAKURA, I love you? had some attitude that she pulled off really well), and maybe play around with that. With some more experimentation in her expression, when she does go back to her 'usual' tracks they're more likely to be appreciated as 'classic kana' rather than 'typical kana'.
Here's hoping that she'll branch out a bit more, and discover a new side of herself to express musically!
