Wow quite a few people hating ringo's voice lol. tbh though that is her signature, high pitch with the twist of "R". Even tho I dun listen to her whole discography, she has really good songs like Honnou, Gibusu, Ringo no Uta, Kabukichou no Joou, etc. I think she did a really good job on letters, as she managed to transform the song to "herself" rather than just covering it.

Yeah, I think AI's FD kinda lost the touch as well. I think her voice is beautiful, but maybe the background story of the song is lost in this cover. Without that the song becomes quite plain.
I just listened to the youtube version SAKURA drops, the opening music was a wow to me lol. The arrangement blends extremely well with Yosui Inoue's old style vocal. I dunno but I'm kinda stuck to old style sometimes, so his version, while may not on par with hikki (yeah I'm biased towards her), is very very good
