though he didn't say he created the picture. Its like one of us posting a photo we like, we didn't create it but you can still post pictures you like. Though it is his picture though, as in photograph used in the edit isn't it? He probably just liked what fans did to one of his pictures. The real talent only came from the photo taken. Maybe its more of a "fan attention whores" thing. But as for copy-write laws goes, he owns the right to that picture since he's the one who took it, and fan art is free for all. The same goes for ayu's A logo, she owns the rights, any fan made logo is free for grab. Its also the only way if you want to create something with trade marked characters and such, if its not fan art, then technically you could be sued for use of it
