Jolin's music style and hers are very different... Jolin's style matches more with Namie's.
If Ayu wanted a famous C-Pop female singer (based in Taiwan) to collaborate with, singers like Jolin or Elva would not fit. Stefanie Sun and A-Mei would though!

your right but... i always thought the reason for it, had something to do with ayu saying something about how she likes guys better than girls. I don't remember where i read it though. Something about how guys are more sincere than girls. i should shut up now
