With some of those genres is quite hard to find here in Brazil, because some styles (like pop, or even EDM) isn't really a thing here, even tho some singers do pop songs here, but in english. We actually have things like "axe-pop" "funk-pop"... Anyway.
The biggest name in brazilian music right now it's probably Ivete Sangalo, she is huuuge here and releasing stuff for more than 20 years with hits all the way through her career!

And there is also that blonde singer that sang during the opening of the World Cup,
Claudia Leitte, with good songs like Exttravasa (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fssCDpJkQg), but no one here likes her anyway. haha
Some of them aren't "popular" anymore (and by popular I mean it doesn't play on radio and stuff) but are important names for them genres; like Tom Jobim, Racionais MC's, Tim Maia...
Some of them are generic, like Gusttavo Lima, because the genre is too popular here, with too many singers that are the same thing, that even look alike.
And with some genres there might have bigger names that I couldn't remember, but I might not be aware of them since I'm not a fan, like rock or hip-hop.
The songs that I choose are a mix of popular stuff and newest releases.

Since the country is big, there are genres that I'm not familiar with. Since I live in the south region, I'm not totally aware of songs from the north or northeast regions.
