I was in a fandom a few years ago (the Gazette, if anyone likes this band) and in order to become a member of the fanclub you had to pay like 100$ a year, a lot of money so i understand why you wouldn't want everyone to see the content you paid so much money for but its member were being kind of "elitists" and wouldn't let a single photo or blog entry leak, they were so mad when it happened
I had a close friend of mine who was a member and he wouldn't even let me see the pictures. I remember telling myself "i'm lucky ayu's fandom is not like that, team ayu magazines' scans are on the internet for everyone to see and no one is here to throw a tantrum because of that.
I'm a not a member of TA yet because i'm still evaluating if this investment would be profitable or not haha.
