^How does she not care about her music if she experiments in music and practically shows that she's one of the rare artists who actually care about their music and want to make it more unique? I would definitely not want her to do what everyone else does, if that's what you mean by staying "safe". Shounen Shoujo was one of her best songs in years for me personally. Just because the masses don't like it doesn't mean it's awful music (quite the contrary in this case, really).
I think she actually has a good balance of experimental and whatever's-currently-popular songs. Yeah, I'd love another upbeat song soon, too. But I don't want Miliyah to turn into basically everyone else in Jpop industry. I really respect the fact that she released a majorly r&b album rather than EDM last year, and now came up with something amazing and different like Shounen Shoujo. Just my opinion, of course. I respect that you don't like that song and want her to be more "safe".
