She actually didn't remove SAKURA from the set list until late June, two months after he'd passed away... I think she made a genuine attempt to keep that song on as part of the tour setlist but just couldn't do it.

I miss when her arrangements for summer songs had multiple elements to them. fairyland has that warm, liquidy bouncing ball of sound in the background, and the rest of the layers kind of mirror that motion of sound. Really, it's so well put together that the layers of sound actually paint a picture, so rich that you can actually envision the sound moving and "see" each layer of sound as a separate hue that aids in creating a larger picture.

I just don't feel much as a result of most of these songs anymore, it's... weird. They feel COLD or something, you know?
