Kis-My-Ft2 achieves 5th consecutive No.1 album by selling 300,000 copies in the first week

Oricon revealed that popular group Kis-My-Ft2's 5th album "KIS-MY-WORLD" (went on sale on July 1) topped their latest weekly ranking with the first week sales of 300,000 copies.
This marked the group's 5th consecutive No.1 album, and also the highest first week sales for their albums.
With this, they have become the first artist (including both male/female, solo/group) in 9 years to sell over 200,000 copies during the first week with 5 consecutive albums, since it was last achieved by Utada Hikaru.
