Cirque du Soleil have a variety of themes they work in themselves, luckily... And Ayu's been using them as inspiration one way or another since CT2000, so I wouldn't worry. You can see it in the costumes, the storytelling approach, the acrobatics (dancers doing tumbles and mime performances, ayu doing aerial silks, all that kind of stuff), the magic tricks with stand-ins... She's been doing Cirque du Soleil shows her entire career, really.
I do wish she'd go to another source for inspiration though, honestly. Like movies, other concerts, even paintings maybe. Even other stage shows would be refreshing. It's possible to warp your audience to a dream world without all your shows looking like Cirque du Soleil.
